Yountville is about 3,000 people on a flat half-mile of Washington Street, with more Michelin stars per resident than anywhere in North America. George Yount planted Napa's first vineyard here in 1836.

  • Harvest ran three weeks early this year, so the vines will be gold.
  • October is fire season. Check the AirNow smoke map before you leave.
  • No big events that weekend, so everything stays quiet.
